abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for the removal of high temperature oxygen containing gases such that the velocity of the bulk gas formed by mixing the oxygen containing gas with the metal chloride feed stream and the feed stream of the scrubbing material to remove wall deposits as fast as the wall deposits are formed. A method of recovering chlorine from a metal chloride containing feed stream using a tubular reactor with sufficient initial speed. |
