abstract The present invention relates to a mass production method of pepper transformants, and more particularly, to a mass production method of pepper transformants using callus induction. The method according to the present invention not only has high transformation efficiency, but also can transform peppers lineage-specifically. In addition, the time taken to prepare the transformants was shortened compared to the conventional pepper transformation method. Thus, the method of the present invention can mass-produce a variety of pepper transformants of high efficiency.
