Aqueous suspensions of ground mineral materials, with low ion load and their uses |
abstract |
The present invention relates to the use of a weakly ionic water-soluble copolymer as a grinding aid for grinding an inorganic material in an aqueous suspension to obtain an aqueous suspension of the purified inorganic material, wherein the aqueous suspension of the inorganic material may have a high dry matter concentration. It has a low Brookfield TM viscosity that remains stable over time and provides a pigment surface area with a small amount of ion charge when measured by ion titration.n n n The present invention relates to aqueous suspensions of the inorganic materials obtained and their use in the field of paper, paints and plastics. |
