abstract The present invention relates to the design of a small base station in a wireless communication system, and in particular, in the design of a small base station by code division multiplexing (CDMA), it is possible to expand FA by a FA (Frequency Assignment) module consisting of a single board. The present invention relates to an FA extension and beacon implementation system and method for implementing a beacon (Beacon) function for handoff of a terminal by a single board beacon module. According to the present invention, in a small base station, an RF module including a radio unit and a logic unit as a single board is added separately from the small base station, so that FA expansion can be performed without adding a small base station. In addition, the present invention was able to implement a beacon function for the handoff of the terminal by adding a beacon module consisting of a single board to the small base station.
