abstract |
The present invention relates to a nonaqueous electrolytic solution for an electrochemical device and an electric double layer capacitor and a secondary battery using the nonaqueous electrolyte. The nonaqueous electrolyte of the present invention comprises a room temperature molten salt and a hydrocarbon fluoride. The nonaqueous electrolyte is flame retardant and viscosity increase is suppressed. Therefore, a high quality electrochemical device can be obtained by using the nonaqueous electrolyte. The electric double layer capacitor of the present invention comprises a pair of polarizable electrodes, a separator disposed between the both electrodes, and the nonaqueous electrolyte of the present invention. The secondary battery of the present invention includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator disposed between the both electrodes and a nonaqueous electrolyte, and the nonaqueous electrolyte is the nonaqueous electrolyte of the present invention, and may further include a lithium salt and a cyclic carbonate. |
