abstract In the light emitting display element, a retroreflective plate is disposed on the back side of the organic EL layer having the light emitting layer that changes state between the light emitting state and the non-light emitting state. The retroreflective plate is made of a corner cube array and reflects incident light in the same direction as the incident direction. The unit structure of a corner cube array is a triangular-vertical shape consisting of three right angled isosceles triangles, and a light shielding process is performed in the vicinity of the low angles of the right angled isosceles triangles. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a light emitting display device which can prevent reflection of an image, has high contrast, and has high light emitting efficiency.
