titleOfInvention Lithium secondary battery with supporting bar for safety
abstract The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery having an internal support for forcibly opening the case when the pressure inside the battery increases to improve the safety of the battery, comprising: an electrode assembly having a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal spaced at a predetermined interval; A case encapsulating the electrode assembly such that the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal protrude outwardly; A lithium secondary battery of the present invention having a support positioned to rupture and open the case when an abnormal pressure occurs inside the case, and one side edge thereof is connected to the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal while being located inside the case. The paper is very useful to improve the safety of the battery because it can prevent the explosion because it breaks a part of the outer film container at the set pressure to release the gas generated inside the battery to the outside.
