abstract The present invention relates to a coating agent (B) capable of curing to a coating having a hardness of at least HB with a pencil hardness in accordance with ISO 15184. The coating agent (B) comprises a prepolymer (A) having an alkoxysilane functional group represented by the following general formula (6):n n n -X-CH 2 -Si (OR) 3-x R ' x (6)n n n (In the general formula (6),n n n R is hydrogen or an alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl radical of C 1-6 , wherein the carbon chain may be interrupted by non-adjacent oxygen, sulfur, or NR ″ groups;n n n R ′ is a C 1-12 alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, or arylalkyl radical, wherein the carbon chain may be disconnected by non-adjacent oxygen, sulfur, or NR ″ groups;n n n  R ″ is hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, aminoalkyl, or aspartate ester radical;n n n  X is oxygen, sulfur, or a group represented by the following general formula (20):n n n  -O-CO-NR "-(20);n n n  x is 0 or 1).
