abstract The present invention relates to a cell line transformed with human Kir2.1 gene HEK293 cells stably expressing α 1G T-type calcium channel using a retrovirus expression system. The HEK293 cell line of the present invention permanently expresses Kir2.1 (potassium inwardly-rectifying channel) to further lower cell membrane voltage towards hyperpolarization, thus expressing stable membrane voltage, and thus high concentrations of KCl in addition to electrophysiological methods. Α 1G is activated.
