abstract The present invention relates to a method of washing a steam generator of a pressurized water reactor, in which the secondary side of the steam generator is treated with an aqueous washing solution containing EDTA, a reducing agent and an alkalizing agent at high pressure and high temperature. In the present invention, morpholine is used as the alkalizing agent, and the morpholine molar concentration is selected at least equal to the molar concentration of EDTA.
