Apparatus 10 and method of use thereof for multi-angle visual evaluation of color characteristics of a paint color sample containing a piece of metal, the cylindrical or semi-cylindrical shape capable of fixing a color sample panel (ACC) on a central axis 22 A body 12 of which has a partially polished or mirror reflective surface 16 and at least one mark 18 indicating a specific non-reflective viewing angle with respect to the plane of the color sample panel. Apparatus and method for use thereof which are provided to allow an improved correlation between visual color evaluation of the surface of the coating containing metal pieces and color evaluation by the device. |
