abstract The present invention relates to an alternative fuel based on ethanol. More specifically, it relates to an alternative fuel comprising ethanol, naphtha and isopropyl alcohol and further containing at least one of methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) and toluene. The alternative fuel is preferably ethanol derived from nature as a main raw material, and is prepared by reacting the organic acid of rosin (hereinafter referred to as "rosin acid") extracted from rosin as a fuel additive with polyoxyalkylene and amine. By using the same rosin acid-polyoxyalkylene-amine compound simultaneously, it can function as a natural fuel.
