The present invention relates to compounds which are selective antagonists for melanin enriched hormone-1 (MCH1) receptor. The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of the present invention and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition prepared by combining a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of the present invention and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The present invention also provides a method of preparing a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of the invention and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The present invention also provides a method for weight loss of a subject comprising administering to the subject a compound of the present invention in an amount effective for weight loss of the subject. The invention also provides a method of treating a subject suffering from the disorder comprising administering to the subject a compound of the invention in an amount effective to treat the subject suffering from a disorder of depression and / or anxiety. The invention also provides a method of treating a subject suffering from a urinary disorder. |
