abstract In the present invention, the first base constituting the initiation codon is co-sequence coupled upward, the initial base of the first codon after the initiation codon is G, and the sequence encoding the endoplasmic reticulum retention signal is attached to the down codon. In codon selection, a gene encoding E. coli toxin B subunit (LTB) modified in part or in whole according to the use of codons used in the plant is provided. The gene greatly improves the degree of LTB expression when transformed into a plant, and also allows the LTB obtained when transformed into a plant to form an active pentamer structure.
