The present invention relates to a light-transmissive polycrystalline ceramic scintillator and a method for manufacturing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a gadolinium oxide-itririum ceramic scintillator, in which europium is added as an activator. The present invention provides a scintillator composition and a method of manufacturing the same, which are transparent and have excellent light emission characteristics in the visible light region. |
