abstract |
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing beta-fructosyl-L-ascorbic acid, a novel ascorbic acid derivative having improved oxidation stability, as an active ingredient. More specifically, microorganism-derived levan fructotransferase or inulin fructotransferase is used to bind fructosyl groups to ascorbic acid to provide oxidative stability, and simultaneously to inhibit antioxidant and tyrosinase inhibitory activities. The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing β-fructosyl-L-ascorbic acid, which is a novel substance exhibiting physiological activities such as whitening. |
