abstract The fluid flow measurement and control device according to the present invention is for measuring the flow rate based on the pressure drop caused by the flow restricting element 15. The apparatus includes a proportional flow valve 10 having a proportional flow valve 10 fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, and an actuator 17 for regulating the proportional flow valve 10. The flow restricting element 15 includes a fluid outlet leading to the fluid inlet and the proportional flow valve 10 and causes a pressure drop between the fluid inlet and the outlet of the flow restricting element. The apparatus also includes pressure drop measuring means 24 and 25, flow rate calculation means 16 and control means (not shown) based on the pressure drop, and the control means include pressure drop measuring means 24 and 25 and measurement. Corresponds to the pressure drop is passed to the actuator 17 for controlling the flow of the fluid through the proportional flow valve (10).
