Solid pigment composition for pigment ink, pigment ink containing the same, and process for preparing these |
abstract |
The present invention comprises the steps of (a) dispersing polyvinyl alcohol in water and dispersing the pigment in the resulting solution; (b) adding an aldehyde derivative to the resulting pigment dispersion and reacting the polyvinyl alcohol with the aldehyde derivative to produce a polyvinyl acetal; And (c) drying the acetalized pigment dispersion. The pigment inks resulting from this process use water soluble solvents (eg alcohol solvents, glycol solvents or other non-toxic solvents), contain a sufficient amount of pigment, have a low concentration with good pigment dispersion and storage stability, It has excellent writing or writing ability with improved color development. |
