titleOfInvention | Light sources having a continuous broad emission wavelength and phosphor compositions useful therefor |
abstract | Phosphor mixtures 32 having continuous emission wavelengths from about 400 nanometers to about 1500 nanometers and more may be formed from inorganic phosphors. The phosphors 32 may be used as a light source with a light source 30 or electron beam 46 generator to provide a broadband emission wavelength. The phosphors can be used to measure blood glucose levels in the human body by emitting phosphor light on the light transmissive portion of the human body, such as earlobe, and measuring glucose levels. |
