titleOfInvention | Detection and identification of mycoplasma species |
abstract | The present invention is to detect and identify mycoplasma species by the simplest and most basic PCR among molecular biological methods, PCR primers for identifying mycoplasma species represented by any one of SEQ ID NOs: 28 to 31; Primers for group-specific PCR for detection of Mycoplasma spp. Represented by any one of SEQ ID NOs: 32 to 37; Patients or animals were performed by performing mycoplasma group-specific seminested rpoB PCR using a diagnostic kit for detecting and identifying mycoplasma genus 'Pneumoniae group' or 'Hominis group' strains containing these primer pairs. The presence of mycoplasma in clinical specimens or contaminated cell cultures can be identified and, if present, can be identified by PCR alone to provide a general identification of the mycoplasma's two groups, the Pneumoniae group and the Hominis group. Rather, the identification of the species can be completed by comparing the nucleotide sequence of the PCR product amplified with the two kinds of primers for identifying the nucleotide sequence with the nucleotide sequences of the standard strains, or by substituting the generated phylogenetic tree. |
