Peptides for the treatment of cancer associated with the human papilloma virus (hpv) and other epithelial tumours |
abstract |
The present invention relates to peptides used to treat epithelial tumors, especially those related to the antigenic form of papilloma virus (HPV). The present invention also relates to the identification of peptides having a structure that allows the blocking of phosphorylation domains by casein kinase II (CKII) by interacting directly with the phosphorylation domain site. In accordance with the present invention, eleven peptides with cyclic structures and other amino acid sequences were used. The peptide inhibits CKII phosphorylation sites in vitro, produces cytotoxicity in carcinoma cells in the neck of the human uterus transformed with HPV-16 (CaSki), and inhibits the cell proliferation of interferon (IFN). Increases the cell's susceptibility to. The invention also relates to the use of said peptide linked or fused to other peptides and chemical compositions with intracellular penetration. |
