abstract |
The present invention relates to ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer cold flow additives having at least 17 mole percent vinyl ester units and containing at least 5 alkyl branches per 100 backbone methylenes, methyl esters of animal or vegetable materials or both or derivatives thereof. An oil obtained from or a composition comprising a mixture of this oil and petroleum oil as a major part. The copolymer improves the low temperature properties of the oil. |
