| abstract |
In a fuel cell assembly comprising a frame 21 and an electrolyte layer 2 having an electrolyte 22 retained in the frame, a pair of separators 5 and 6 have a metallic material attached to either the frame or each separator. The laser beam is then irradiated to the metal material through the frame or the separator while the frame and each separator are in contact with each other, and the metal material is bonded to the electrolyte layer by forming a eutectic mixture with the frame and the other one of the separators. |
