abstract |
In the present invention, adenosine in a non-aqueous solvent is reacted with thionyl chloride and pyridine to form a reaction solution; Exchanging the non-aqueous solvent with a lower alcohol and adding a base to the reaction solution; A method for producing in-situ chloroadenosine is described, wherein the resulting chloroadenosine is filtered, washed and dried. In addition, a two-step method for synthesizing methylthioadenosine using in-situ prepared chloroadenosine is described. |
