abstract The present invention relates to a vector YEpGPD-TER-apxIIA expressing ApxIIA toxin protein of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, a causative agent of Haemophilus pleuropneumonia, and a yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) transforming the vector. to provide. The present invention also provides a method of producing ApxIIA toxin protein of porcine pleural pneumonia, comprising culturing the transformed yeast in a culture medium to express the ApxIIA toxin protein. The present invention also provides an ApxIIA toxin protein prepared by the above method having immunogenic and protective immunity against porcine pleural pneumonia. Yeast expressing this ApxIIA toxin protein may be used as a feed additive for pig breeding to provide pigs with immunogenicity against pleural pneumonia.
