abstract The present invention relates to aliphatic alcohols having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, aliphatic carboxylic acid alkyl esters having 3 to 10 carbon atoms in total, aromatic carboxylic acid alkyl esters having 8 to 12 carbon atoms in total, total 3 Aliphatic carbonates having from 9 to 9 carbon atoms, carbonitriles having from 2 to 8 carbon atoms in total, dialkyl ketones having from 3 to 6 carbon atoms in total, and aliphatic sulfones having from 3 to 6 carbon atoms in total 2,4,6-trianilino-p- (carbo-2'-ethylhexyl-1'-oxy) of formula I by recrystallization of a tautomeric mixture in the presence of at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of: A method for preparing tautomer forms of -1,3,5-triazine. The solvent or solvent mixture may further contain up to 30% by weight hydrocarbon. Compounds of formula (I) act as light blockers in cosmetic preparations.
