titleOfInvention | Foreign gene expression and secretion system in the genus bifidobacterium |
abstract | The present invention relates to a foreign gene expression vector system for producing a useful protein using pBES2, a plasmid vector isolated from Bifidobacteria known as beneficial bacteria among human and animal intestinal bacteria. The present invention relates to the development of a novel vector including a promoter of an alpha-amylase gene (α-amylase) derived from Bifidobacterium, ribosomal binding sites (RBS) and a signal sequence for expression, and a foreign gene expression system using the same.n n n The present invention can be used to make functional lactobacillus products through the production of useful proteins by preparing an expression vector containing a foreign gene and transforming Bifidobacterium using the same, as well as the use of alpha-amylase genes. The signal sequence is of great industrial value because E. coli is useful for secreting foreign genes to the outside. |
