titleOfInvention | Electroporation method including the use of depressurization/pressurization |
abstract | It is an object of the present invention to establish a simpler and faster transformation method than conventional techniques. This goal can be solved by a method comprising the steps of a) maintaining the cells under pressure different from atmospheric pressure, and b) placing the cells and nucleic acids under conditions capable of inducing electroporation. The present invention obviates the need for culture which is usually required after gene introduction. The present invention thus makes it possible to obtain transformants of species which are impossible or very difficult to transform by conventional techniques. The simple transformation method of the present invention facilitates large scale processing and large scale analysis of research and development in the art. Moreover, the present invention leads to dramatic advances in research and potentially leads to the development of innovative recombinants. |
