It has been found that the binding of hepatic growth factor (HGF) receptors to novel mucin-like proteins inhibits the expression of HGF / HGF receptors, thereby inhibiting HGF-dependent cell proliferation, tissue and blood vessel regeneration / angiogenesis. Furthermore, it has been found that by inhibiting the binding of the HGF receptor and the mucin-like protein, it is possible to treat various diseases such as liver disease. |
