titleOfInvention Water-Dispersible Polysaccharide Derivatives of Reduced Glyoxal Content, and a Process for Decreasing the Glyoxal Content in Glyoxal-Crosslinked Polysaccharide Derivatives
abstract The present invention provides a method for reducing unbound glyoxal, by adjusting one or more water-soluble aluminum salts, or one or more water-soluble borate salts, or a combination of one or more water-soluble aluminum salts and one or more water-soluble borate salts, and optionally adjusting pH. It relates to a glyoxal-treated polysaccharide derivative which is dried after being treated with an aqueous solution comprising a buffer material suitable for the following.n n n The present invention also relates to a method for reducing the content of unbound glyoxal in the glyoxal-treated polysaccharide derivative.
