titleOfInvention Adsorptive separation product recovery by fractional distillation
abstract By carrying out the separation using a dividing wall column, the structure and operating cost of recovering the extraction or extraction residue products of the simulated mobile bed adsorptive separation process are reduced. Extraction debris or extract stream is introduced into the column at an intermediate point on the first side of the separation wall, and the column carries the adsorptive separation product from the opposite side of the separation wall to the side discharge. The co-adsorbed impurity stream is removed to the top stream and the desorbent is recovered to the final bottoms stream.
