titleOfInvention Apparatus and method for high performance offset codebook mode with block-level operation
abstract The present invention relates to a block encryption apparatus and a method for a high speed offset codebook mode. The encryption apparatus may perform an offset codebook mode during transmission or reception of data packets, thereby reducing encryption time and improving data throughput. At this time, the division, transmission and retry exceptions are defined, and if an exception occurs, the offset codebook mode is performed correspondingly. The exceptions are when a packet is processed in blocks, in the middle of a block or a message authentication code, or when a previous or next block is received from different transmission sources, or if the received packet is a received packet or a communication error. Occurs when a retry is required. Therefore, the encryption apparatus of the present invention encrypts and decrypts the input data during transmission and reception through an algorithm for solving the problem since an exception occurs when the transmission or reception is not possible.
