From the signals picked up by the CCD of the electronic endoscope, an original image and a pseudo-colored processed image of IHb corresponding to the blood information amount can be generated. When the pseudo color display is turned ON, the processed image is displayed as a still image. When the release instruction operation was performed, after capturing and recording the pseudo-colored processed image by the monitor photographing apparatus, the still image of the original image in the same scene as the processed image was subsequently made possible. |
