abstract |
Absorbent composites are disclosed that can process complex fluids and are capable of maintaining high absorbency under high loads even after the materials have undergone stringent process conditions. Absorbent composites include heterogeneously crosslinked superabsorbent polymers having a highly crosslinked sheath. The surface of the superabsorbent polymer includes a protective fibrous coating material and an association agent. |
