titleOfInvention | Oral formulations for poorly absorptive hydrophilic drugs |
abstract | The present invention relates to oral pharmaceutical compositions of polar drugs, comprising: (a) at least one member selected from polar active substances capable of ionization and high water solubility that do not pass through the biolipid membrane and whose bioavailability is less than 30%; (b) an organic alkalizing agent which is basic in aqueous solution and capable of ionic bonding with the polar active substance, at least one selected from alkalizing agents having an amino acid structure or a polyol structure; And (c) at least one selected from surfactants having fatty acids having 6 to 18 carbon atoms and having an HLB (hydrophilic equilibrium constant) value of 4 to 18 as an essential component, or from the polar active material of (a) Oral use comprising at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkalizing agent having a fatty acid ester structure as an organic alkalizing agent which is basic in the aqueous solution and (d) an ionic bond with the polar active substance. According to the pharmaceutical composition, with the development of a high value-added technology that enables the development of oral preparations of polar drugs that have not been conventionally orally administered, it is possible to alleviate the inconvenience of injections and to facilitate patient adaptability. |
