abstract |
A method for determining the radiation received by a product exposed to a treatment source at one or more defined locations from the treatment source. An example method involves assigning a point to a product (FIG. 3). Next, the fixed area and the variable area are determined. The predicted length between the point on the product and the treatment source is then identified at each of one or more defined locations (FIG. 4). Then, calculate the throughput that the point on the product will receive at each of the one or more defined locations (4), where the calculation uses a precomputed length. Also provided is an apparatus for exposing a product to a treatment and treatment system. |
