The present invention provides a method of treating M. aureus by administering a single dose of an effective amount of a Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (M. hyo) vaccine to animals approximately 3-10 days old. A method of treating or preventing a disease or disorder in an animal caused by an infection by HIO. M. The HIV vaccine may be an inactivated or denatured live preparation, subunit vaccine, or nucleic acid or DNA vaccine consisting of complete or partial cells. M. administered according to the invention. HIO vaccines can be synthesized or can be produced recombinantly. |
