abstract The present invention relates to a package of a plurality of oil absorbent wipes suitable for wiping a user's skin or hair. The wipes are arranged in an overlay arrangement, wherein the wipes comprise an oil-absorbing porous film-like substrate of thermoplastic material having a transparency of less than 65%. Porous substrates have a transparency change of at least 10 percentage points upon loading of the oil. The porous substrate includes an embossing pattern at 1-50% of at least a portion of the wipe material surface area in contact with neighboring wipes in the package.
