Method for making acylated polypeptides |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for producing a polypeptide in a transformed host cell by expressing a precursor material of a desired polypeptide that is subsequently acylated in a laboratory step. The invention also relates to DNA-sequences, vectors, transformed host cells for use in the claimed methods. The present invention provides a method of making a polypeptide that is preferentially acylated at a particular lysine ε-amino group. |
