abstract Provided is a wound dressing having a structure in which nanofibers of silk fibroin obtained by removing sericin from silk fibers are entangled with each other in the form of a nonwoven fabric. The wound coating material may be prepared by lyophilizing a silk fibroin solution obtained by removing sericin from silk fibers, dissolving the dried silk fibroin in an electrospinning solvent and then electrospinning. The wound dressing of the present invention has excellent adhesion and air permeability, and is advantageous for cell regeneration of damaged skin tissue.
