Non-aspirating transitional viscoelastics for use in surgery |
abstract |
The present invention relates to non-absorbable viscous products, compositions and methods of use thereof. Non-aspirable metastatic viscoelastics have sufficient viscosity useful for ophthalmic viscosurgery and can be removed from the eye with little or no IOP spikes. The composition is particularly useful for cataract surgery. |
