The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition having improved application utility for keratinous tissue and keratinous fibers, the composition having improved application utility while avoiding the drawbacks associated with compositions currently known in the art. The cosmetic composition exhibits a transition point stress of about 650 Pa to about 1500 Pa and a high shear rate gradient of less than about 0.5 Pa-s. The Applicant also believes that the compositions disclosed herein provide other cosmetic applications related to keratinous tissues, such as the skin, for which it is desirable to provide flexible application of long lasting film forming cosmetics, such as lipsticks, foundations, eyeliners, lipliners.
