titleOfInvention Bio-supporter surface modified by polymer grafting and method for preparing the same
abstract BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a surface-modified biosupport and a method for producing the same. More particularly, a functional group capable of chemical modification is introduced on a surface of a solid biosupport, and a polysaccharide or chitosan is directly coupled thereto. By grafting a polymer thin film, and the surface is bonded to a spacer having a photodegradable protecting group, the present invention relates to a modified bio-support and a method of manufacturing the same.n n n According to the present invention, by modifying the surface of the bio support with polysaccharide or chitosan, the bio support of the present invention can improve the biocompatibility and stably immobilize the protein on the surface, thereby preventing the nonspecific surface adsorption of the protein. By reducing the bioavailability of the surface of the biochip, as well as by adjusting the affinity for the biomaterial by the spacer, it is possible to stabilize the biomaterial patterning by the light modulator and to suppress nonspecific binding.
