abstract |
The present invention relates to a fluid collection device adapted to test the concentration of a fluid component, including a lid and a base. Also included is a spacer disposed between the cover and the base. The spacer forms an capillary channel having an opening and designed to collect fluid. The capillary channel includes a reagent that reacts with the fluid to produce a measurable reaction. This reaction provides measurable indications of reagent concentration in the fluid. A lance movable to the base and movable to a position adjacent to the opening of the capillary channel is connected to the lid. |
