abstract | (Problem) High quality hydroxyalkyl (meth) acrylate with little content of an alkylene glycol di (meth) acrylate and content of an acid component, and its new manufacturing method are provided.n n n (Solution) A method for producing hydroxyalkyl (meth) acrylate by batch reaction of (meth) acrylic acid and alkylene oxide in the presence of a catalyst, wherein the feed of both raw materials is supplied during the time required for the supply of both raw materials. The molar ratio of the total amount of the alkylene oxide to the total amount of the (meth) acrylic acid added to the reactor until the temperature of the prepared raw material is 40 ℃ or more of the total supply time of more than 1.0, adjusted to exceed 1.0 By the method, the hydroxyalkyl (meth) acrylate whose content of the alkylene glycol di (meth) acrylate as an impurity is 0.1 weight% or less, and the content of an acid component is 0.1 weight% or less is obtained. |
