In one embodiment, the invention is directed to a first oligonucleotide derived from or comprising a 5′-CTAGGGCGGGCGGGACTCACCTAC-3 ′ or complementary nucleic acid sequence. The first oligonucleotide may be used, such as 15-30 nucleotides that do not contain the sequence of the first oligonucleotide and are found in the region of the Vβ-Jβ of the Vβ13.1 gene in the Vβ13.1 T cells. At this time, in order to multiply a portion of the Vβ13.1 gene, the sequence of the oligonucleotide and the nucleic acid is not found in the same strand of the Vβ13.1 gene pair. That is, the first oligonucleotide can be used as a labeling moiety in a method for detecting the LGRAGLTY motif found in the T cell receptor of Vβ 13.1 T cells. This motif is associated with immune diseases, such as multiple infarctions. Once this motif is detected, the immune disease is cured or its progress is monitored. Immune diseases can be treated by administering one or more peptides comprising the LGRAGLTY motif. |
