| abstract | The present invention relates to a pants-type, prefastened disposable absorbent article having two leg openings positioned directly below the waist opening and visible through the waist opening. The waist opening has a relaxed waist opening measurement or relaxed waist diameter that is greater than the width of the chassis of the absorbent article in the crotch region. Thus, the wearer's leg is positioned to pass through the leg opening to facilitate the use of the pants-type pre-fastened disposable absorbent product. After initial wearing of the absorbent article, the waist sizing feature allows the waist circumference dimension to be adjusted such that the waist opening matches the wearer's waist. |
