The present invention relates to a method for preparing a yttrium gadolinium-based red phosphor represented by the following Chemical Formula 1, and according to the method of the present invention, an organic acid such as citric acid and a polyhydric alcohol solution such as ethylene glycol are added in an appropriate ratio when preparing a spray solution. In addition, the yttrium gadolinium-based red phosphor prepared by adding a flux, such as sodium carbonate, is a nano-sized particle, so it has excellent luminescence properties and improved particle size distribution, which can be useful for a light emitting layer for flat panel displays and three-wavelength lamps:n n n n n (Y 1-x Gd x ) 2 O 3 : Eu y n n n n n Wherein 0 ≦ x ≦ 1 and 0.001 ≦ y ≦ 0.5. |
