A dielectric rubber in which a extender oil is blended with a conjugated diene rubber containing a specific amount of isoprene units, wherein the rubber is a monomer consisting of 1,3-butadiene and an aromatic vinyl monomer, using an organic active metal as an initiator in a hydrocarbon solvent. A dielectric rubber obtained by polymerizing a mixture and then reacting a coupling agent with a polymer having an active terminal obtained by adding isoprene and polymerizing. The rubber composition containing this dielectric rubber can be used suitably for the tire tread of a low fuel consumption tire. |
