abstract | The present invention relates to a coated powder base composition having a viscosity of about 2 to about 85 Pa s. The composition can be prepared in a large batch and lesser part of this batch can be mixed with various dyeing agents to obtain the desired coating powder color. Predetermined viscosity can be obtained by incorporating a resin modifier. The invention also includes methods of making the base composition and coating powder as well as the coating substrate using the coating powder. Finally, two or more resin-containing base compositions can be mixed with a dyeing agent to achieve a desired gloss and color. |
